Visa upon arrival for certain nationalities
Citizens of the following countries can apply for visa valid for 30 days (extendable) for Iran upon arrival at the airport.
Airports: Tehran (Imam Khomeini), Mashhad, Shiraz, Isfahan, Kermanshah and Tabriz.
Visa Office: “Administration visa office of Ministry of Foreign Affairs”, located inside the above mentioned airports.

Nationals of Turkey and Syria do not require any visa .
Nationals of US, Canada, Britain, India, Bangladesh, Colombia, Jordan, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Somalia citizens cannot apply for visa upon arrival at any airport .
Visa fees: Euro 35.00 – Euro 60.00, depending on nationality. Visa fee is subject to change without any prior notice.
Visa Regulations for American, British and Canadian citizens
American, British, Canadian nationals can’t apply for visa upon arrival at any Iranian port of entry and are obliged to travel on escorted tours, either as part of a group, or a tailor-made individual tour. All travel arrangements, including accommodation, internal transportation, guide and driver must be determined prior to applying for the visa and the itinerary must be submitted along with the visa application. No deviations from the submitted itinerary are allowed.
US, British, and Canadian nationals must apply for their visa at the nearest embassy or consulate, using the applicable visa form (for requirements, see above). The visa procedures takes 20-35 working days. The visa acceptance from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the visa code number will be sent to you by e-mail. Upon receipt of the visa code, the visa has to be picked up within 30 days from the embassy/consulate. The visa will be valid for 30 days. An extension can be granted upon the discretion of the authorities in Iran.

American: USD 90.00 – Canadian: USD 75.00

Visa from Iranian Embassy or through Travel Agent:
For other nationalities or those who wish to stay longer, a visa can be obtained prior to travel from either the Iranian Embassy/Consulate in your home country, or through an Iranian travel agent (facilitated by us). In these cases, the visa has a validity of 30 days and can be extended in Iran.
For individual travelers: After filling the visa form, we will apply for your visa at MOFA and you will receive a visa code from us. Upon receipt if the visa code, you can either obtain your visa at the nearest Iranian embassy or consulate in your home country, or upon arrival at the airport in Iran, after paying the set visa fee.
For groups more than 2 pax: The same procedure as for individual travelers is applicable. However, in order to avoid waiting time at the airport, it is recommended to obtain the visa at the embassy or consulate prior to travel.
Visa fees (Euro 35 – 100 ), depending on nationality), paid directly by travelers at the embassy or airport. For groups, we can include the visa fees in the package if visa is obtained upon arrival at the airport. Please allow for 7-10 working days from the date of application to receiving a visa code number from us .
VIP (CIP) service:
Available at airports in Tehran (Imam Khomeini), Meshhad and Shiraz is available for USD 140.00 per person (in addition to applicable visa fees). Our representative will assist travelers with all airport formalities during arrival and departure (entry and departure formalities, customs, check-in, seat confirmation, etc.). We offer this service to save you time so that you can enjoy your stay in Iran as soon as you arrive. You also have access to the VIP lounge and conference rooms.
Note: All travelers should hold their own travel insurance. Proof must be presented when obtaining the visa at the embassy or upon arrival at any port of entry in Iran. Travelers not holding a travel insurance are obliged to pay for a travel insurance upon arrival (Euro 12-20, depending on length of stay in Iran).
